Scott Haas - President

Scott is a native Arizonan who resides in Phoenix along with his wife Maggie and their two children.  Mr. Haas received a Bachelors of Science in Business from Arizona State University in 1996 and is an avid golf enthusiast.  His passion for golf led him towards the landscape industry.

Scott has received several credentials, including industry certifications and acknowledgments, spanning his 20 years within the industry.  He is devoted to ongoing educational opportunities in an effort to stay ahead of best practices.

Mr. Haas is extremely active throughout APM’s ongoing operations, and plans to do so for many years to come.  Scott believes strongly in integrity, quality, partnership and communication.  Simple, time-tested philosophies that have served the organization well to this day.

Brett Peterson - Director of Business Development

Brett is a third generation Arizona native who has never left the desert.  With years of experience as an HOA community manager, he is well equipped to provide the service and knowledge expected by today’s management firms and association boards.

Brett is certified in Sustainable Landscape Management and is an Arizona Certified Landscape Professional. He continues to gain industry knowledge through regular ACLP courses and events in association with the Arizona Landscape Contractors Association. His additional experience in the construction and golf course management industries have given him a firsthand view of the changing landscape environment in our beautiful desert.

“The reason I chose to join the APM team was my personal experience of their culture of service and accountability. I trusted their team to treat every community or commercial property they maintain with the same attention to detail and service no matter what the contracted fee was.”

Dan Vigil - East Branch Manager

Dan hails from the Pacific Northwest.  As a Washingtonian, Dan enjoys returning home for hunting trips and to watch his beloved Huskies and Seahawks any chance he gets!  Having lived in Phoenix since 2007, he has begun a new affinity for golfing as the Valley has many great destinations to offer.  “I enjoy seeing the sun “almost” every day.  Coming from Seattle, it makes a huge difference!”  Dan, his wife Tori and their daughter, Chloe, enjoy anything outdoors including hiking, and spending time with their family.

Dan has served as a Community and Property Manager prior to joining APM as a Branch Manager where he directs daily operations and handles project management for the company. Having prior experience as an HOA Community Manager and as a Project Manager with another landscape design firm, Dan brings a wealth of industry experience and perspective to the company.

Dan is certified in Sustainable Landscape Management and is working toward becoming an Arizona Certified Landscape Professional through the Arizona Landscape Contractors Association by attending continuing education and professional development courses. The best part of working for APM is the, “continual understanding of the elements that help improve our landscape.”

Mark Munoz - West Branch Manager

Originally from Southern California, Mark moved to Arizona in 2001 looking for new opportunities and new surroundings. In his spare time, Mark enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife, Linda, and their 3 young boys.

Mark has always enjoyed the outdoors which lead him into the landscape maintenance field. Mark has a vast knowledge of Sustainable Landscape Management practices stemming from years of experience as a maintenance foreman, irrigation technician, and Branch Manager.  Mark continues to gain industry knowledge through Sustainable Landscape Management and Arizona Certified Landscape Professional educational opportunities.

Starting his APM career in 2014, Mark quickly progressed through various supervisory roles.  His work ethic and dedication to quality clearly showed he was ready to become the East Branch Manager. His ability to lead by example is what makes him a perfect choice. “APM is not just a landscape management company, we are a large extended family. I have always enjoyed working with Scott, Jeff, Dan, and Brett and that motivated me to move through the ranks and wait for the right opportunity to arrive.”
